6/4 Reflection

Over the past few weeks, I have learned a lot about not only Minecraft but also myself. This project has taught me how to become a better Minecraft builder. I researched different styles of houses, different roofs, landscaping, and much more. This all added up and allowed me to create some of the best Minecraft houses I have ever created. This was my personal favorite.
As you can see qualities, such as the roof and landscaping, are much more advanced than some of my beginning houses. This has shown me how many possibilities there are in Minecraft, there are endless. Now, onto the Ted Talk, I did. This is the first time I had recorded something like that, with visuals and an "audience". I feel like I still probably have to work on my public speaking but I'm just going to blame that on virtual learning. Also, I found out how easy it was to write a script once you got into the flow of it. For instance, when I was working away at my script, all I had to do was put some music on, and once I got into the flow, I was able to complete it in an hour or less. This is probably because it was more of an informal script. Next, I feel like I could probably have improved on my visuals. Unfortunately, I don't have a green screen or a projector of some sort, so I had to resort to editing a picture onto the video. I don't have fancy editing softwares so I just used a random app on my phone. This unfortunately made the quality decreased. So, next time I do something like this, I will find some other way to better incorporate the visuals. I am quite sad this is the last post I'll be making on this blog, as I really enjoyed this experience. However, I will still continue to play minecraft and remember what I learned during this time. :)
