3/25 Blog 1: The different styles of building
This week, I learned some new styles of building in Minecraft. I also tried some of them out. "Modern" "Towns like" "Overgrown" Even though I have been playing Minecraft for years, I realized how hard it was to build a house without a guide, tutorial, or picture. Throughout this process, I learned that building roofs was one of the things on the harder side. In the past, I would normally build a roof in the shape of an upside-down V like this: /\. However, Minecraft building has evolved and new forms of roofs have been starting to appear. So, that is my goal for the next blog checkpoint (to learn the different types of roofs and how to build them). I also had some trouble with the exterior, as I found myself building bare walls with just windows. However, in the "overgrown" house, I tried to use cobblestone walls to accentuate the stone in the house. Through my research, I have found many types of building styles. Overgrown, modern, cottage...
